Mint banana smoothie

Hello! Today I propose a special smoothie that is very simple to make and that you can enjoy on one of these wonderful summer days. You can make it in just a few minutes, and it will not require any effort. If you are also in company, offer it to your friends or your partner. You will see that he or she will be happy!

Mint banana smoothie: refreshing and energizing

PORTIONS FOR 2 PEOPLE

Ingredients for the smoothie:

  • 3 Frozen bananas
  • A Handful of fresh mint
  • 1 Spoon of Agave juice
  • 1 Teaspoon of lemon juice

To decorate:

  • Blueberries
  • Currant
  • Mint leaves
  • Chia or poppy seeds

TOOLS ~ For this smoothie, you need:

  • Vitamix or Blender (or in case you do not have either, you can use an immersion blender)
  • Transparent medium glasses

PREPARATION TIME ~ 10 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS:

If we do not have frozen bananas and we only have those just bought from the greengrocer, put three of them in the freezer at least an hour (no more than 2 hours) before preparation.

Once they are frozen in the freezer, let’s pull them out and peel them. Cut into slices and pour into the blender container.

After washing them, add the mint leaves. Finally also the agave juice and the teaspoon of lemon juice. Then break it all down.

To garnish, add the berries: I used the currants (which I love) and the blueberries (which I love too). And finally the fresh mint leaves and chia seeds (you can also choose other types of seeds that you like best).
